Trillium luteum ranges in color from yellow to various shades of green/chartreuse. There are several forms in our collection and we favor the clearer yellow. The flowers of this plant are redolent of lemons! This plant is the most fragrant of the trilliums that we grow in the garden. Mid-season for bloom time, this plant will extend its flowers into June if the year is mild. We have some in pots, hoping to bulk them up with a rich soil mix. If it goes well, we will divide the plants in the fall and create a larger patch somewhere in the garden.
