Those familiar orange chairs
Browsing the internet, I stumbled on an image of very familiar orange chairs, taken during the blogger’s visit to our very own Dunn garden.
While looking at some garden-related stuff on Pinterest, an internet social media site I don't understand and rarely peruse, I suddenly noticed two very familiar orange chairs sitting in front of a potted Darmera plant. I started clicking around to see if I could find the origin of the photos, thinking it might lead me back to the Dunn Gardens web site. I was that sure I recognized those chairs! Instead I ultimately found myself looking at a collection of photos on a blog entitled Floradora that had been posted in 2011 by a California garden designer who took them when she visited the Dunn. Some of her photos are quite lovely and have a quality unlike most I have seen. Here's a link to the blog so that you can enjoy them too: Floradora visits the Dunn.
The rest of the blog is worth poking around as well. The blogger (bloggist?) evidently visits Seattle frequently, and there are photos and information about a number of interesting gardens here.
Eagle eyes!
I am impressed that you idenitified the image! I will enjoy reading her blog and seeing her other images too. Thanks for sharing all this good stuff you find.
