Experience an unforgettable summer afternoon where art, music, and community come together at Dunn Gardens.
More than 50 vibrant botanical-inspired quilts created by the Pacific Northwest African American Quilters will once again transform the Gardens into a spectacular open-air gallery. Inspired by the beauty of Dunn Gardens, each handcrafted quilt celebrates creativity, storytelling, and the enduring legacy of African American quilting traditions.
New this year, ceramic artist and Dunn Gardens friend Alexander Kamola will showcase striking ceramic works tucked along garden paths. Each one-of-a-kind piece will be available for purchase through an online auction.
Bring a picnic, sip a refreshing beverage, and relax to the sounds of live jazz while enjoying docent-led mini-tours, summer blooms, and views over Puget Sound. For your convenience, an all-American lunch of hotdogs, chips, and a beverage will be available for $10.
This beloved event only takes place every two years, so don’t miss your chance to experience it.
