Garden Events

Throughout the year, we host a wide range of events—from Books & Beer to the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee and our Winter Solstice Celebration. As a small staff, we rely on the incredible support of our volunteers to make these events successful. We are always looking for enthusiastic, reliable volunteers who are flexible and quick on their feet.

Scope of Work
Volunteers assist with event setup and breakdown and provide support during events. Roles may include parking attendant, bartender, plant sales attendant, or check-in assistant.

Time Commitment
Events take place on both weekdays and weekends. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of two hours per event.

Requirements

• Volunteers must be Dunn Gardens members

• Complete orientation 

• Ability to bend, lift at least 10 pounds, and comfortably walk on uneven terrain
