Board Member

Born and raised in Seattle, Kaitlin has cultivated a profound connection to Pacific Northwest flora and fauna since childhood. While she always found joy in public gardens, parks, and urban green spaces, her professional calling crystallized during her time living in San Francisco, where weekends exploring Golden Gate Park and the Presidio ignited her passion for horticulture. Upon returning to her hometown, Kaitlin pursued this newfound purpose, and completed a Horticulture degree from Edmonds College. She then worked as first an intern, and then as an assistant gardener at the wonderful Elisabeth C. Miller Botanic Garden. Today, she tends to several private collector gardens throughout North Seattle.

Kaitlin holds a degree in Sustainable Landscape Management from Edmonds College, as well as a BA in Studio Art from Western Washington University
